DANIEL PINCHBECKS TRUTH.
Writer Daniel Pinchbeck is blaming the women in his life for his “predatory” behavior that has recently come to light as part of the #MeToo movement.
While Pinchbeck emphasized that he never “had nonconsensual sex, sex with a minor, sex with someone unconscious, or lied about my intentions to get someone into bed,” he admits he’s engaged in “many unaware and disrespectful behaviors, specifically: Pushing for sex without listening to why she was hesitant; seeking sexual contact with volunteers in an organization that I helped to start; the use of substances as tools of seduction; being incredibly insensitive and tone-deaf to women’s wants and needs; making unwanted advances; focusing on much younger women.”
Pinchbeck’s first book, 2003’s “Breaking Open the Head: A Psychedelic Journey into the Heart of Contemporary Shamanism,” centers on his idea that certain psychedelic drugs can “awaken the mind to other levels of awareness — to a holographic vision of the universe.”
In the new Facebook post, he places blame on “the ongoing use of some of the mind-expanding chemicals I wrote about in my first book” for his behavior with women. “I now see that the continued use of certain chemicals had a negative impact on my personality over time,” he said.
I thought that the mind bending drugs that Daniel Pinchbeck mentions and has promoted , are currently being tested, by all accounts, on vulnerable people, and are edging their way towards legalization under the guise of therapy.
Edited to add – If someone such as Daniel Pinchbeck who has promoted the use of enthogens and has written books about it states that the use of them have negatively impacted his personality, why would his associates over at MAPS (who promote his books) continue to push the idea that enthogens as some kind of remedial therapy . Is Pinchbeck going to take his books off of the market or continue to profit off of the information that by all accounts contributed to him being a predatory sex pest in denial.
Still promoted by MAPS.
